The IPSF APRO Good Pharmacy Practice Education (GPPed) Program is a regional event held by the Asia Pacific Regional Office for pharmacy students and recent graduates worldwide. The aim of the program is the implementation and promotion of good pharmacy practice by training and developing leaders for the future. The overall purpose is to establish pharmacy practice equivalence so that a consistent standard is reflected across different countries.

Motivation for this Program

The aim of the program is to continue implementation and promotion of Good Pharmacy Practice Education by training and developing leaders for the Asia Pacific region and also internationally. The Good Pharmacy Practice education program aims to establish pharmacy practice equivalence so that a consistent standard is established across different countries. The participants would be demonstrated the respected GPP model from Taiwan, and are encouraged to apply the knowledge learned from the GPPed program to their standard school curriculum. Participants should be able to share the GPP guidelines with their friends and incorporate this into their pharmacy school programs and national congress. Through promotion and education, we hope our members will appreciate GPP as an important skill set, and that they develop the enthusiasm to learn about GPP and develop their skills in the years to come.

Project Aim

Continue implementation and promotion of Good Pharmacy Practice Education by training and developing leaders for the Asia Pacific region.
The leaders team aimed to establish the equality of pharmacy practice and make pharmacy more globalize. The participants would see the good model of GPP from Taiwan and train to apply the knowledge learned from GPPed program to their standard school curriculum. Participants should able to share the GPP guidelines with their friends and incorporate to their pharmacy school programs and nation congress. All association would see the GPP as an important skills and enthusiastic to learn about GPP knowledge in the near future, within 5 years.
