Ikatan Senat Mahasiswa Farmasi Seluruh Indonesia
Ikatan Senat Mahasiswa Farmasi Seluruh Indonesia (Association of Indonesian Pharmaceutical Student Councils) or ISMAFARSI for short, is a national pharmacy student organisation, which consists of local organisations throughout Indonesia. It aims to be a leading national advocacy organisation for pharmacy students, carrying out professional initiatives and promoting improved public health through the provisions of information, education, networking and a range of publications. ISMAFARSI is also appointed as the only representative of Indonesian pharmacy students nationally. The mandate to run the organisation is two years, and consists of 3 Advisory Board members, 11 National Executive Committee members, and a Chairperson for each of the 8 regional offices.
ISMAFARSI was formed In Kaliurang, Yogyakarta in 1955. It has grown to represent over 30,000 pharmacy students from 90 local organisations throughout Indonesia. ISMAFARSI has 8 regional offices; which are Sumatra 1, Sumatra 2, Jabodelata, Priangan, Joglosepur, Batara-Jatim, Kalimantan, and Indonesia Timur.
ISMAFARSI became a Full Member of IPSF at the 53rd IPSF World Congress 2007 in Taiwan. Since then, ISMAFARSI actively participated in IPSF projects (Public Health, Professional Development, Pharmacy Education, and Student Exchange Programme) and events (World Congress and Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium).
Musyawarah Nasional (MUNAS)
MUNAS is an annual event similar to a General Assembly. There will be a report presentation from the Secretary General and an election for the new Secretary General and Advisory Board.
Indonesian Pharmaceutical Students Scientific Week (PIMFI)
PIMFI is a national competition week held by ISMAFARSI. PIMFI is held in along with our Mid-Year Meeting.
Joint International Outing (JIO)
JIO is a mini student exchange programme jointly-organised by NUSPS, Singapore; ISMAFARSI; MyPSA, Malaysia and PSUT, Thailand. In this programme, there will be visits, social nights and mini seminars.
